I was on holiday when I stayed here, and I was surprised that no one on the hotel staff could communicate in English. That made basic things difficult. We tried translation apps, but direct conversation just isn't the same. It was a very disappointing experience. 👎👎👎👎👎

The location is good, but the rooms are dated and need updating. Loud guests kept making noise past midnight, so it was almost impossible to sleep.

The location in Pudong was great, and the rooms were clean, cozy, and had comfortable beds and good air conditioning. The staff were incredibly accommodating during my stay, letting me choose my room and helping with room service, cleaning, deliveries, and directions. They even offered complimentary laundry, which most hotels don't.

The rooms were very small, and the service wasn't great. My first room was clean and nice, but the bathroom in the second was pretty gross and the flush didn't work well. The laundry machine was clogged with piles of powdered detergent. It was passable, just not worth the amount they charged.

It's a good business hotel with clean rooms, and there's buffet breakfast for an extra 29 RMB if you book online. Shops, banks, and restaurants are close, as is an Indian restaurant about a five-minute walk away. The rooms are too small, though. The bathroom is small but enough for a business traveler. If you're alone, it's a very good hotel, but I wouldn't recommend it for two people each carrying two large suitcases.
