IntercityHotel Shanghai jinqiao

The staff were really kind and responsive, and the experience was much better than I expected. It’s a high-class hotel with all the equipment and furniture you’d need.

Loved the room, and the staff and service were great too. Such a nice hotel. If I’m back in Shanghai, I wonder if I’ll stay here again!

The gym was nice, and the hotel itself felt clean and modern. Staff were friendly. Breakfast could use a bit of improvement.

The subway is only about 150 meters away, although the hotel is a bit far from the city centre. A taxi ride to the Oriental Pearl Tower takes around 45 minutes. The delivery robots bring orders right to the door. We had an upgraded room, and it was very large, with floor-to-ceiling windows, automatic curtains and screens, and a height-adjustable table for standing or computer work. There was also a little sofa and a very large TV. The bathrobes were comfortable, and the bathroom facilities were spacious and good for a quick shower. I checked out the gym, laundry room, and breakfast area. I only went down for juice and fruit, so I can’t say how the other dishes taste. I heard they have late-night snacks Monday to Friday. When we arrived, the front desk staff saw us get out of the taxi, came out to help with our luggage, and walked us to the counter to check in. That was very good service. The facilities and service were excellent overall. The only staff issue was the gentleman who brought towels at night, who looked rather grumpy. There was also a strange noise in our room at night, like uneven table legs rubbing against a machine, possibly from the air conditioner or walls. My colleague’s room had the same noise. If they fixed that, it would be perfect. For anyone trying to find it, the correct address is Building B, No. 4, Lane 9, Jinwan Road, Jinqiao Town, Pudong New Area. After entering by the lighted sign marked "Intercity Hotel," turn left. There are two hotels in the area, Jinqiao Yiheng EVEN and Intercity. Intercity had been open less than a year when we stayed, so it’s relatively new.
