8/10
The location in central Cheung Ning, Hongqiao, worked well, with a large mall nearby and Line 2 giving an easy ride to the Bund without changing trains. For a single room, it’s cozy and tidy, with a comfortable bed, though the pillow was softer than I expected. The bathroom was clean, and it had what I needed. It may not match bigger brands like Sheraton or renaissance in the area, but I found it a good business hotel.

A small business hotel, with a pretty complete set of amenities for people traveling for work.

The location makes getting to Line 2 easy, and the Wi-Fi worked fine. It’s been renovated, so it feels modern, and the cozy room size suits Japanese guests well. There are plenty of power outlets, which is reassuring. The Japanese-speaking staff member was incredibly attentive, and having him around made things much easier.

I was in town for FIC and found the room simple and clean. Breakfast didn't offer a huge selection, but what I had was quite good, including the rice and miso soup. They also changed the toppings for the soup noodles often.
