JI Hotel Shanghai Hongqiao Jinhui Road

There aren't many room types to choose from, but the free late-night snacks are a thoughtful extra.

The hotel's location was fantastic for shopping, with several well-known malls nearby, including the Aegean Sea shopping mall and MixC department store. Taiwanese night markets were close too, and Korean street was about a ten-minute bike ride away. Longbai Xincun subway station was only a five-minute walk. My flight got into Shanghai around 7 or 8 pm, so I booked CitiGo Shanghai Hongqiao MixC Hotel. It was close to Hongqiao Airport, in a lively area, and cost just RMB 338 a night. On arrival, staff noticed my room was too small and upgraded me to a bigger one while I had my luggage with me. They asked if I needed laundry and found me a room with a washing machine. The service was excellent. They eventually put me in room 905 on the top floor. It was still small, but fine for one person. I loved the soft, comfortable bed. The bathroom was a bit cramped, but at RMB 338 I couldn't ask for more.

It seems to have been renovated after changing from the Radiance Hotel to the Citigo chain. Staff are friendly, and there are shopping malls and restaurants nearby. The subway station is close too, so it's convenient for reaching tourist attractions. I often stay here on business trips.

The single room was clean and had everything I needed. I really liked its style, too. Great~
