The staff have been so friendly and know the place well enough to answer almost anything I ask. Housekeeping are cheerful too. When I pass their cart, they greet me and offer things like extra towels, toothbrushes, hand towels, or bottled water. I’ve had a really delightful extended stay at the All Seasons Hotel in Shanghai, and I’m completely satisfied. I’m heading to Suzhou today, then spending a short time in Hangzhou, and after Hong Kong I plan to come back to Shanghai and stay here again. There’s a big range at the free breakfast, from pastries to savory dishes. The air conditioning is powerful, almost too powerful, and I set it to 20 degrees Celsius. Each time I enter, though, I have to put the card in the control slot before I can adjust the temperature. A little inconvenient, but it may help with some of the less flattering reviews. A robot greets guests and guides them to their rooms, which adds a quirky touch to check-in. The room also comes with free bottled water, a tea set, a 72-inch TV, a comb, a toothbrush, and toothpaste. The gym is very basic, just a few treadmills, but the laundry room has washers and dryers at no extra charge. They’ll even bring your clean laundry to your father’s room if you don’t want to carry it. It’s been a wonderful stay, full of pleasant surprises and good service. I’d happily choose the All Seasons Hotel again when I’m back in Shanghai.

This was a really bad hotel and the service was poor. The air conditioner wouldn't cool the room, and the bathroom lights didn't work. When I told the staff, they said it wasn't related to the room and they weren't responsible, then told me to come back tomorrow to change rooms. About the AC, they said this was as cold as it got. In some rooms, people even had to leave the bedroom door open. Very bad service.

The hotel was being renovated when we arrived, but our stay was still good and quiet.

The waitresses were courteous and helpful, and they gave us advice based on what we liked. I had dinner here with friends and really enjoyed the ambience.
