The staff were incredible. One of the women took us to China Telecom downtown to get a SIM card, about a 2 km walk to the subway, and paid for the three of us. Back at the hotel, her colleague helped us find a VPN and install it on my phone. I’ve never had that kind of help on any of my trips. The hotel was absolutely clean and had everything we needed. Amazing. Huge thanks to the staff who looked after us. I highly recommend it, and we’ll be back when we return to Shanghai next year.

The room was much nicer than the outside of the hotel suggests. The bed and pillow were comfortable, and the shower pressure was excellent. The service and hospitality were excellent too, with free coffee in the lobby. It’s a bit far from the tourist spots, but we got around by DiDi.
