No, no, no. The room gets too cold in winter.

I left in a hurry and regret not taking a photo. The place was so awful that I’d put it among the three worst I’ve seen for hygiene, though I’m sure there are worse places. The smell was terrible, with dirty rooms, mold and flies, plus peeling wallpaper and chipped tiles. It looked nothing like the photos. I wouldn’t book it. For the same price, I’d choose another nearby hotel, such as "Home Inn Shanghai". Even a better location wouldn’t make up for this. Someone responsible for sanitary inspections should see it.

The room had a stale, old-grease smell, probably from the snack bar next door, and it wasn’t especially clean. The price is reasonable for Shanghai City Center, but the hotel itself isn’t very good.
