I haven't even made it to my room yet, so I can't judge it. After a 10-hour flight, I got here around 11:30 PM and found just one employee checking people in. I've already spent half an hour waiting, with roughly another 30 minutes of queue still ahead. For a hotel this size with this reputation, that's a really disappointing welcome after such a long trip.

The room was great, and the staff were wonderful. It's also very handy for the convention center and subway station. The only small issue was the A/C, which I couldn't get cold enough. I like 20°C or below, so I had to switch it off and open a window.

Jumeirah Himalayas Hotel was a great choice for me. It was really clean, the staff were so helpful, and I felt happy and lucky to have stayed there.

The only real reason to book this place is its spot across from the convention center entrance. The hotel feels worn out, has no charm, and the service is poor. Breakfast in the atrium was cold and noisy. For a drink, I'd go somewhere else, and there are better places to enjoy Shanghai. It costs a lot without offering real value.
