8/10
The service was excellent, breakfast was nice, the facade is impressive, and the price was reasonable. The drawbacks were the worn carpets in the rooms, a very limited TV selection, and little English support. It’s also far out on the edge of Pudong, with the nearest Metro about a 3 km walk. If you need to be at the Free Trade zone and can communicate somewhat in Mandarin, it’s a very solid option.

It’s in an industrial area, but the facilities are good and the staff are very good. A really good hotel.

It’s a bit far from downtown Shanghai, but I’d still highly recommend it. My room was spacious and very clean, and the facilities were good.
