The rooms are good and the service is pretty decent, but the complimentary breakfast is awful. They call it continental, yet it’s just one bread, a banana, and coffee to take away. There’s a kitchen if you’re able to cook. It’s an expensive place, and a bit far from the metro station.
8/10
The rooms are bigger, the kitchen is better, and it costs less, making this the best four-star bargain in Pudong. If you’ve stayed at the Kerry, Rennaissance, or Dorsett, give it a try. The 6 line is an easy walk away. Breakfast is very limited, so I’d skip it and eat locally. Finding the place can also be awkward: it sits well back from the main entrance to the larger Lanson complex, and on your first visit you may wander around until you find the right building. The signs really need attention. Even with those small issues, I recommend it and would happily come back.
8/10
The apartments are roomy and in a central spot, and the staff were really helpful. I’d definitely book again.
10/10
A very luxurious apartment with all kinds of amenities. One of the best places to stay in Shanghai.
8/10
It’s a nice hotel, but the breakfast was worse than I expected.
