For what I paid, this felt like a modern, upscale hotel. The rooms, service, and features were worth far more than the nightly rate. I’d gladly pay four times as much to stay here, since it can hold its own against some of the best hotels in Shanghai. I’d definitely come back.

The staff were polite, though they didn’t speak English. My ground-floor king room was in very poor shape: the shower floor was cracked bare concrete, the wall paint was peeling, and the lack of ventilation left a strange smell. I checked out as soon as I checked in and went to another hotel. I’d only book this place as a last resort.
