Smoking indoors and in the hallway is allowed, so that cigarette smell seems to be everywhere. There were maintenance problems too, though the rooms themselves were decent. Some had a strange odor. The bathroom looked nice, with glass walls, and there was a mini fridge with some water. I got none of the Accor status benefits here: no welcome drink or amenity, upgrade, free breakfast, thank you letter, or anything else. They don't even use Accor branding, and don't recognize status in any form. It felt like a very typical Chinese hotel.

2023/03/14 The room was unbearably hot because the central air conditioning only blew warm air. The hotel said it would stay that way until May. Really bad experience this time. Don't come here unless you want to melt in your room!

The subway is nearby, and a taxi ride to the main tourist sights takes around 20-30 minutes. Global Harbor is the only thing around, though. The window is small, but the view from it is nice. They don't speak English, but I got by with a translator and the staff were kind. The place isn't fancy, just decent enough to stay in. I'd skip breakfast.
