Moonlo Hotel

The rooms had the feel of staying in Bali, and the shuttles were very good. What keeps bringing me back, though, is how kind the staff are. This was my second stay, and my family and I plan to return again.

Xiao Yang was especially friendly and attentive to our needs at any hour. The breakfast was delicious, and our room was clean, spacious, and had a huge balcony. I’d recommend the hotel and would happily come back.

The breakfast was good, but the restaurant staff made it feel special. The woman there helped carry my luggage to the check-out desk and arranged my complimentary shuttle to the airport. My room was clean and the bed was comfortable, and there are plenty of places to eat around the hotel. Check-in was easy, with the airport about a 15-minute drive away. I was in Shanghai for just one night during a layover, but had a fantastic stay at the Moonlo hotel. I’ll have to come back for longer.

The breakfast had a big selection of both Western and traditional Chinese food. I also loved the open, spacious, very clean rooms. There was a lovely herbal scent throughout, and it was so quiet that the stay felt like a little break from everyday stress. The stylish decor gave the place a relaxing, spa-like feel, more like somewhere I’d expect to find in Bali than near an airport. I booked at short notice for one night before flying out of Shanghai (PVG), and hadn’t expected much. I absolutely loved it and will stop by again on my next Shanghai trip. Highly recommended.
