Novotel Shanghai Clover

We really enjoyed our stay as a family. The room was super clean and smelled amazing, and the beds and pillows were very comfortable. The gym is small but well maintained. The concierge even collected our Taobao packages for us. The staff were friendly and welcoming the whole trip. Their translation device made it easy to communicate what we needed. The shuttle saved us a lot on travel to and from Disneyland, The Bund, the airport, and the railway station. Thanks to the team for making the stay so pleasant and memorable 😍

The service from the whole team stood out most, especially Xiao Fan (Debin), our bellhop. He helped us plan our itinerary, brought our Taobao parcels up to the room, helped with the washing machine, and made sure we caught the shuttle on time by getting all our luggage ready. There was plenty to enjoy with kids: warm herbal tea, a full-sized playroom with a ball pit and library, a console gaming area, laundry machines, and a Disneyland merch stall. The rooms were tastefully designed and kid-friendly, and there were plenty of shuttle buses to popular places. A cafe and two convenience stores are just across the street.

The hotel was friendly and lovely, with a spacious room and good facilities. The location worked well for Disney, and the helpful shuttle goes to Disney and the airport. I’d stay again.

Getting to Disneyland is easy from here: the hotel is close by and runs a shuttle. There’s also a halal restaurant straight across the road. The rooms did feel cramped and uncomfortable, though. Aside from that, I was happy with the hotel.
