The staff were lovely, the hotel was comfortable, and I got a few great nights of sleep. The shampoo and body products were really good, in large containers so you won’t run out. The toilet bowls are tiny, though. As a man, I couldn’t sit without my front end touching the bowl, which was mildly disgusting and unnerving. There’s only a gym, no swimming pool. 😳

It’s convenient for getting to the airport, and food deliveries come right to the door by robot. My suite-style room was spacious, with a kitchen sink and washing machine. Breakfast was simple but included hot food.

Great hotel. The double-volume suite was really nice, with two bedrooms and two shower rooms. Everything was so good, I was very excited.

The breakfast was a real highlight, with loads of choices, and I had fun watching the little robots deliver things straight to the room. The apartment itself was spacious and had a kitchen and several showers. There’s a good gym, though the pool was closed. You can walk about 10 minutes to an area with plenty of good restaurants, and the exhibition center where the Shanghai AutoShow usually takes place is nearby.

There’s plenty of room to work in these well-equipped suites, and lots of restaurants plus a full supermarket right next door. Getting to NECC is easy, about a 5- to 10-minute drive to the National Exhibition building. The suites are laid out as lofts, so the stairs could be an issue for some. Breakfast is excellent, and the price feels like good value for the location.
