A massage chair is in the room, though using it costs extra. The surroundings are calm, the staff are friendly, and the food is healthy, so it’s a nice choice for a short stay. From Shanghai Pudong International Airport, the trip takes around 45 minutes when traffic is average.

China Eastern Airlines arranged this hotel after a major delay made us miss our connection. It wasn’t a castle. The room had been cleaned, but the AC didn’t work, and the only TV channel we could get was in Chinese.

The neighborhood is clean and tidy, with residents working on projects around the area. It’s worth taking a look around at the modern three-story houses and their gardens. Each one has its own character.

The room was cozy and clean, and the hotel provided a free transfer as part of the China Eastern Airlines Cubecity program. The windows were quite dirty, though, and cigarette smells filled the corridors.
