Pudong Shangri-La, Shanghai

The location was very convenient, right beside a mall, and the hotel services were excellent. The hospitality made a real difference to my stay, and I highly recommend the place. The Concierge team at Shangri-La Hotel, Shanghai were supportive, patient, and cooperative throughout. They were always willing to help, whether with something inside the hotel or around Shanghai, and often did more than expected. Special thanks to William, the Concierge Team Leader. He handled a couple of situations that needed extra attention with care, efficiency, and professionalism. His help really mattered to me.

The Bund views from Pudong Shangri-La are hard to beat, and my room was spotless and carefully maintained. I stayed in the city for both business and leisure, and the location worked beautifully for either. The front desk team and the reservation manager were especially helpful and put the guest first. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome. It was an amazing stay, and I highly recommend it.

The buffets are delicious, and the rooms feel luxurious. I always feel spoiled at a Shangri-La. Oddly, one thing I look forward to is the scent they ventilate through the hotels. Whether I’m in Shanghai or Manila, that smell brings on a good feeling and makes me think I’m going to rest well and enjoy my stay.

I booked the Grand Tower Bund View room at Shangri-La Pudong last week, and waking up to the Bund skyline was every bit as breathtaking as people say. I’m already looking forward to coming back. The staff made me feel welcome through attentive, courteous service and friendly conversation, and I felt I could trust the place completely. Penny Ma and Dabie on the 29th level Horizon Club were fantastic. Leia, Jasmine Chi, Chloe, Nora, Jamie, and Lynn were wonderful throughout my stay as well. Executive Chef Foong deserves a nod for leading what must be a superb F&B team. Thanks to everyone for such a great experience.
