The pool is quite small, massive and noisy, and service at the leisure centre is poor, more like a street convenience store. If you need a swimming pool, it’s better to look elsewhere. The room was quite clean, though, and reception service was sweet.

Grace at check-in was very friendly, and the process went smoothly. The room conditions were great. Breakfast quality felt poor, and the location is a bit far from tourist attractions. My 10/10 rating is solely for Grace. Tip: Zhujiajiao Water Town is only 20 minutes from Pullman by taxi. It’s a truly wonderful Chinese water town.

The rooms are comfortable and well maintained, and most of the hotel feels average. Member service could be better: the welcome gift was just a small fruit plate, Platinum members couldn't use alcohol for their welcome drink, and late checkout was limited to 14:00. Other hotels often offer 15:00 or 16:00. There were also many trainees in the lounge, which affected the professionalism of the service.

I stayed twice for two weeks in total, both times in a Deluxe King Room. I'm also an Accor Gold Member. This may be the worst Accor hotel I've ever stayed at. The service was the biggest problem. If you don't speak Chinese, good luck. Even using a translator app, it was almost impossible to understand the staff. They didn't speak clearly enough for the app to translate into English properly. Some nights the rooms around me were so noisy that I couldn't sleep. I called the front desk maybe ten times. They came to check, but no one took care of the noise, so I gave up. Laundry was a disaster too. There was no bag or form in the room, so I had to go to the front desk. Every time, staff spent more than ten minutes searching for a form. I insisted on getting one because I worried that if my clothes went missing, they could just say they knew nothing about it. The form said clothes handed in by 12am would be returned by 6pm the same day. I gave mine in at 9am because I was checking out the next day. That evening they said they'd bring the clothes to my room, but the laundry had simply closed and everyone had gone home. I had to explain my situation to five different people before reaching a manager who could barely speak English. For a hotel that calls itself “luxury,” this is a shame. I'll never stay there again, and if Accor can't give me a proper answer either, I'll cancel my subscription. They charge for a service that doesn't exist. The rooms are old-fashioned and poorly insulated, so you can hear everything happening around you. The room and wardrobe doors wouldn't close properly, and the windows were always very dirty, so looking outside wasn't enjoyable.

QinYuan Lake Park (Qinyuan Lake Park) is just minutes away, which made a morning jog easy and refreshing. The hotel also has a convenient shuttle to Huawei R&D, plus quick access to Hongqiao transport hub and downtown Shanghai via Songze Highway. Staff were well trained and the service was excellent from start to finish. Highly recommended!
