Our two-bedroom apartment suite was enormous, with a great view toward Shanghai city centre. We could watch the sunset over the skyline and skyscrapers. There was also a kitchen with an electric stove and microwave. It could comfortably fit four people, or five if someone doesn't mind sleeping on the living-room couch. We stayed from 31 December 2024 to 3 January 2025. We booked through Trip and paid $530 in local currency for three nights, which felt like a very good deal for an apartment that size. The staff were friendly and check-in was seamless. The location is the main drawback. It's very far from Shanghai city centre, and there's no metro within walking distance. It's a good fit for business travelers with offices nearby or tourists heading to Disneyland, about a 10-minute drive away.

The location aside, there isn't much going for this place. The staff seemed untrained and barely bothered, the room AC didn't work, and a cracked floor created a tripping hazard. Breakfast was dirty and badly managed: the food wasn't replenished, and the whole team needs training.

I stayed twice, two weeks each time. On my first visit everything went well. The second time, a leak caused the air-conditioning unit to short circuit. An electrician came three times after it shorted, but couldn't find the problem. The next morning it happened again for the fourth time, water was leaking onto the floor, and they moved me to another room. The staff are very friendly. The man and woman at reception speak very good English, and they gave us extra bottled water at no charge. Breakfast has plenty of choices, especially hot dishes. The concierge was also a big help arranging taxis to work several times.

I stayed for a few hours before an early flight. The room was clean and the shuttle was punctual. I picked this hotel because it's close to the airport.

I was here on business, and the clean, cosy room was comfortable for a few nights. I needed a last-minute room upgrade for my team. Even with the language barrier, the manager paid close attention and made sure it was arranged. Very good service.
