I was here on a business trip, and our host put us in what seemed to be the business suites. They’re in a separate building, just a short walk from the main lobby.

The staff were generally kind and helpful, but some couldn’t speak any English, French, Spanish, German, or other international languages, which could get confusing, especially in the restaurant. The restaurant itself had plenty to choose from, though the food was only middling overall. This hotel works well for a business stay. My Deluxe King Room was clean, spacious, and in good condition at 40 m2. The in-room Wi-Fi was fairly quick: on the 12th floor I got 2.5 Mb/s download and 1.0 Mb/s upload. Those results were without a VPN, but as anywhere in China, you’ll need a VPN account to reach Google Search and most Google apps. It’s a long way from downtown Shanghai, so I wouldn’t use it as a base for regular sightseeing there.

The food wasn't good, and there aren't any convenience shops nearby. The hotel feels really boring, stuck in an industrial area.
