There are plenty of restaurants and convenience stores nearby, and the hotel is close to Putong Airport, so getting around for basics and the airport is easy. It’s cheap, which helps. The room was clean inside since the hotel is new, but it feels like a typical rural Chinese hotel. The biggest nuisance was having no refrigerator. One woman at reception spoke Japanese, but the others could manage only a little English. The vacuum was noisy in the morning, and car horns outside sometimes woke me at night. The building only has four floors, so the noise may be worse for lower-floor rooms.

It’s clean and fairly quiet, a decent fit for business travel. Breakfast is just okay, enough to fill you up. A taxi to the airport is about 50 RMB, and morning traffic can get backed up, so set off early.

Watch out at Chuansha Station, since two hotels there share the same name but have different branch names. There’s no refrigerator in the room, which was the worst part for me. Otherwise, nothing else was particularly inconvenient.
