I knew check-in was at 2 pm, but I got to the hostel before 9 am after spending 10 hours on a night train and asked if I could shower. The young guy at reception seemed useless and had to call his manager. The manager didn't answer, so I waited 15 minutes and left for another hostel, Jarvis, where they let me check in earlier.

After two months of nonstop travel, I finally got a chance to rest here. I planned on staying two nights, but after five I'm still here 😂 The hostel is huge, with plenty of rooms, and has a really social feel while still giving you space to retreat when you want. My room was clean, the linens were fresh, and the shower had hot water. It does get a bit cold in winter, but the blanket is good. Staff are very friendly, and one speaks perfect English and understands everything. Drinks and snacks are available on site for nearly the same prices as the market outside. The price is great, and I think this is the cheapest hostel you can stay in here. I highly recommend it! 👍🏼
