With 1700 sq.m inside of the hotel can lay 70 tables more than 50 lunch halls over 20 tables for western food tea and coffee. 7 conference rooms and some entertainment places such as drinking bar gymnasium KTV commercial centers boutiques and so on.

The room was spacious, quiet, and comfortable, with a great shower. Breakfast was a superb buffet with a bewildering range of East and West choices, and the food was delicious. I loved the smoked plum juice. The hotel feels like a once-luxurious place that’s fallen on hard times. When I arrived around 9 PM after China Eastern Airlines put me up here overnight, a rather grumpy, officious receptionist said all the restaurants were closed and there was no room service, so I’d have to go outside for food. So much for an international hotel. I had no yen, couldn’t get the WiFi working, and none of my cards were accepted at a shop down the road. If you’re making the same trip, take some Chinese currency. One more tip: bring a jumper. The temperature seemed stuck around 21 even though I tried to turn it up.

The price was reasonable, and the staff were kind and helpful when I needed advice. My room was clean and tidy, though the hotel itself felt a little old and worn. There was a complimentary buffet breakfast with plenty of choices. It’s about a 25-minute drive to Pudong Airport. Getting to Nanjing Pedestrian walkway took around an hour and a half by public transport, but the system is streamlined enough that the trip wasn’t much trouble. I didn’t want to rate it just three stars; it felt more like a high three, maybe 3.7 or 3.8. It’s really not a bad place to stay.

I stayed there in Dec 25 and Jan 25, and it was the worst hotel I’ve ever been to. The breakfast was cold and tasteless, and I waited a couple of hours at the airport for their shuttle before giving up and taking a taxi, even though I’d already paid for the shuttle. The manager was awful, and management needs to get rid of him if they want to run the place professionally. He should read a customer service for dummies book or something. If they want to call this an “international hotel,” they need someone there who can communicate in English. I had no other choice at the time, or I wouldn’t have given this hotel even 0 stars.
