Our room was clean and well maintained, with lovely Lego details in the decor that the kids really enjoyed. The hotel also provides free breakfast and shuttle rides to Disney and the airport. We had a wonderful stay and hope to come back.

A nice option for families heading to Disneyland. They offer free shuttle buses to both the airport and Disneyland, and the service was nice. There are plenty of amenities, a fair breakfast included, plus lots of local restaurants and a supermarket nearby. There's a swimming pool too, though I don't think anyone will need it 😆

The service was tip top. They offered to switch on the warmer before I arrived and again each day before I came back to the room. They cleaned daily, changed the towels every day, and even supplied detergent for the laundry service. I also got a free gift keychain at checkout 🥰

We felt really welcome and safe here, especially thanks to Xiao Ran and the rest of the staff, who went out of their way to help us. The hotel was great, and their attitude was amazing. The neighborhood isn't very touristy. We were the only foreigners walking along the street, and nobody there spoke English. We went jogging around the area every day and felt safe. There are local restaurants and markets and shops selling all kinds of unusual stuff. It was interesting to see everyday local life beyond the tourist side of the city. The hotel offers free rides to and from the airport every two hours if you tell the front desk a day ahead. We tried taking a random taxi ourselves at first, which I wouldn't recommend unless you speak Mandarin. The driver took three longer turns, then tried to charge us 465 yuan for what should have been a 60 yuan ride, based on the prices I checked in Amap app. I argued with him in the hotel parking area, and since he didn't speak English, hotel staff stepped in right away. Within about 2-3 minutes, around 5-6 staff were there, standing up for us and arguing with the scammer taxi driver. They took our luggage from the car and helped settle things using translation apps. Big thanks to them! Staff didn't speak English, but they used translation apps and answered all our questions. The room was clean, with a big, comfortable bed that fit me even though I'm very tall. It had a powerful Dyson like hair dryer, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, toothbrush, flip-flops, and bottled water restocked daily. There was also AC and a humidifier, both needed in that weather. The walls were thin and didn't block sound well. The TV was a projector on the wall, but I couldn't figure out how to change the settings to English 😅 Breakfast was delicious, with lots of choices, mostly Asian food: rice, noodles, fried and boiled eggs, fruit, baked pumpkin, moon cake, and more. The hotel also has free rides to and from Disneyland. You just message the WeChat group with a timeslot and number of people, and driver Lee picks you up. Massage chairs in the lobby are free, as are the laundry and drying machines. There's free coffee, tea, and "sour plums soup" in the lobby too. That soup was very good, I recommend it. Other things they offered, which we didn't use, were costume rentals for kids, like princesses and cowboys, professional make-up, and tour guides, who I think only speak Mandarin. A few tips: in China, you'll need Alipay and WeChat to pay and communicate, and Amap for maps and local transport. At Shanghai Disney Resort, the Magic Disney Passport costs around 80 yuan. Try to finish it on your first day, it's a nice tour-like way to see the whole park. October weather is hot, very, very hot 🔥 🥵
