Sushi Light Luxury Hotel

We found the rooms modern and nicely designed, with good showers, plenty of outlets and USB ports, and handy washers and dryers. The location is the main plus, though finding the hotel was confusing at first. You can get in through the indoor shopping center or what seems like a side entrance. The internet was so slow it was basically unusable, which made planning and other logistics a headache. As a family of five, we also hope they consider offering adjoining rooms.

The location was the best part. Yu Garden train station is just a short hop away, and there are lots of food options above the hotel. The staff responded quickly when I told them my first room smelled bad, and they moved me right away. There was street noise in the room, along with kids playing in the corridor and other guests' doors closing. I was also confused because my Trip.com booking said Sushi Boutique Hotel, while the actual hotel name was Sushi Light Luxury Hotel (Shanghai Bund Chenghuang Temple Branch).

The staff were VERY FRIENDLY and let me check in at 11am without hesitation. My room was good, and having a washing machine was useful. The hotel is just behind YuYuan Garden, with the MRT about 3 minutes away. Meituan deliveries are left beside the front desk. I highly recommend it. I think it may also be part of the Ji Hotel chain.
