Sweetome Vacation Apartment East Nanjing Road

Our family had a wonderful week at Holiday Inn Nanjing Road. It's new and clean, and its spot beside Nanjing Pedestrian Walking Street made food, shopping, and sightseeing easy. The nearest metro is about a five-minute walk away. The breakfast buffet had plenty of variety and worked well for my three children. The front desk team were friendly and helpful. Special thanks to Ella for going the extra mile to help me set up Alipay and WeChat, and carefully helping recover a parcel I'd missed from Taobao. I'd definitely recommend the hotel to families visiting Shanghai. Very satisfied tourist from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, Nicholas 🇲🇾

The upgrade made this second visit even better: both the suite and standard room we booked turned into suites on the top floor. They were huge, with separate bedrooms and living rooms, plus a bathroom in each area. And with the hotel right on Nanjing Road, we could head downstairs and start shopping. Still my favorite spot, and I’ll be back.

The room’s view over the Nanjing Road skyline was beautiful, and breakfast had good options. The staff were really helpful too. The Bund is an easy walk, and the metro is within walking distance. Cafés, malls, and plenty of places to eat are close by, since Nanjing Road has so much around it.

Breakfast had lots to choose from 👏, and the rooms were comfortable with a nice design. I liked that the hotel isn’t right on busy Nanjing Road, so getting out to explore the shops felt easier and less crowded. The Bund is close, there are plenty of good restaurants nearby, and the hotel view is lovely.
