After a Shanghai trip with two colleagues, all three of us regretted choosing this hotel. The facilities felt dated as soon as we arrived, with old décor and worn furniture that didn't match the price. They don't have robot delivery, so you have to go downstairs yourself whenever you order takeout, and there's no room service. The service was worse. I was in an executive-level room, but the front desk sounded annoyed and reluctant whenever I called for basic things like toothbrushes or dry cleaning. When I finally called the lobby manager (lobby manager) to complain, the response was just as indifferent, with no attempt to resolve it or even show basic politeness. It felt like a problem with the hotel's service culture as a whole, from top to bottom. The hotel seems to coast on its location while offering little in return. This is quite literally the worst hotel I've stayed at in Shanghai. If you don't want your mood ruined, I strongly recommend against staying here.

For the price and location, I'd say it's well worth staying here again. The furnishings are a little dated, but the rooms were clean and a good standard, and the facilities were excellent. Staff were all friendly and accommodating, and I really loved the place. Such good value for money!

The kids setup was a real help: our room came with a child’s bed, a play mat and toys, plus towels and toiletries for them. The rest of the hotel was lovely too. There’s a nice pool, spa and gym, breakfast was good, and the restaurant upstairs was exquisite.

I came back for a weeklong work trip and found the hotel just as consistent as before, with good value for the price. The location is great, and service is efficient. The rooms are a little tired, though the bed is very comfortable and the air conditioning works really well. Breakfast buffet was good too.

The location made getting around easy, with Line 7, 14 and 2 just a two-minute walk away, covering many Shanghai destinations. Major restaurants are about a ten-minute walk, and several large malls are 10-15 minutes away on foot. Celine at the check-in counter gave a particularly warm welcome and made a great first impression. Check-in itself was quick and friendly, with no hassle, and I was unexpectedly upgraded to a higher floor. The room has older-style decor, but it's very spacious, with a huge bed, and was spotless.
