The room was really spacious, about 45 sq m, and we got four bottles of mineral water each day. That’s the most generous hotel I’ve seen for water. There were also lots of complimentary things laid out near the lobby, including coffee, tea, candies, and toiletries. The bathroom could be seen from the bed, but the blinds closed for privacy. It’s a bit out of the way from the city center, though the metro station was only a two-minute walk. There was a Starbucks in the hotel, a McCafe next door, a row of restaurants and shops, and a big mall across the street. There’s also a free shuttle to Shanghai Disneylang. We enjoyed our stay and look forward to coming back.

I hate this hotel. I’ve stayed here many times because my company books it and I don’t have a choice. I consider it the worst hotel I’ve stayed in anywhere in the world. You can smell someone smoking in the restroom, and the worst thing is how extremely hot it gets. The room settings are fixed, so I can’t control the temperature. The cleaners are nice and try, but they can’t do anything about the air conditioning setting or the smoking. The front desk called me about the air conditioning setting. I’d adjusted it just minutes before asking them to fix the heat. It made me feel like they’d rather leave me uncomfortable than do anything to help. I just hope my company stops sending me here.

The room was clean and quiet, and I got an early check-in. Breakfast was local, though it could use more variety. There’s a mall just a one-minute walk away.

The staff were polite, and room service was available. The food tasted good and was reasonably priced. Wi-Fi was stable, though I needed a VPN for further connections. Bottled water and some amenities were provided, and the water pressure from both the tap and shower was strong. At first glance the room looked clean and spacious, but it felt stuffy. The air conditioning was set at a steady 22℃, though it didn’t feel that way. Central heating is common in China, so there wasn’t much I could do besides switch on the barely working air fan.
