The concierge was excellent, and breakfast was delicious. We even had a huge terrace, though it could have used some furniture. The hotel itself is beautiful, from the rooms to the atmosphere. It’s also in a great central spot for walking, eating and shopping, with the metro just 50m down the street. Highly recommend.

We found this charming boutique hotel a perfect base for exploring Shanghai. The Yangtze hotel is ideally placed for first-time visitors, just a stone's throw from the Subway and walking street. Location, location, location.

We got a room upgrade for our honeymoon, which was a lovely touch. The staff were helpful and spoke English. The room was really clean and well serviced, and they kept topping up everything we needed. We loved our stay. Would recommend.

Nanjing East road is just a minute’s walk away, and Yu Garden is only three bus stops from the hotel. We stayed five days and four nights, and the housekeeping crew were meticulous. They even put a “Good night” mat under our slippers and kept refilling our water bottles. At 6.30 AM, the concierge staff welcomed us with big smiles and polite manners. From our first question to the last, the front desk and doorman were patient and professional. Ava Li was especially helpful with check-in and check-out. We’re grateful for the warm hospitality and would definitely stay again and recommend this hotel in Shanghai.
