The room was comfortable and a good size, though the view from every side looked into the ZTE campus. Breakfast was decent, but there wasn't much for vegetarians. The location worked well for us, with zhanjiang technology Park subway about 700 meters away, plus a seven eleven and McDonald's on the hotel campus. One thing to remember: dental kits and combs aren't stocked in the rooms, so pick them up from reception each day.

The rooms had plenty of space, and breakfast each morning was nice. I liked the hotel overall, but the bathroom cleanliness bothered me. I'm pretty sure there was mold growing in there.

Building 1 was newer, with clean and tidy rooms, but Building 3 was the complete opposite. I stayed here twice on this trip and noticed a big difference between the two. Breakfast was nice, though there wasn't much for anyone who doesn't like Chinese breakfast. This place used to be better.

The hotel and service were good, though there were very few English-speaking people. They provide two bottles of water a day, but drinking water isn't always complimentary. I didn't see any free water available elsewhere, and I think the drinking water is quite cost-effective.

It's an inexpensive, no-frills hotel, but I was unhappy with how they handled my booking. I had a four-day reservation, yet at check-in they said they'd only honor the first two days. Even after I showed them the confirmation from my corporate travel department, management wouldn't budge.
