SanQingShan New Century Resort

The twin room was cosy and comfortable, with all the amenities set up. Breakfast was good too, with local and Western options, and chefs cooking fresh eggs and dumplings at their counters. As we were leaving, we spotted our group welcome sign in neon at the front entrance, which was a nice touch ❤️ We stayed one night because the hotel is close to our next sightseeing stop, Sanqinshan, and our tour company booked it for us. Our room was in Block 5, up the steep mountainside and quite a walk from the main building. The tour bus took our luggage up there, and we squeezed into the lift to reach our rooms. Getting to breakfast in the main building was awkward. We had to take the elevator to another building, then walk down steep stairs with no safety handrail. The tour bus had to come back to bring us down to the main building. A buggy service would really help people staying in the mountain blocks. Even with those difficult stairs, we slept very well.
