The mountain air here feels like a reset after the city, especially with all that fresh, plant-filled air around you. Jiangwan in Wuyuan is a lovely place to see Hui-style villages and enjoy a quiet, almost paradise-like kind of life.

If you have time to spare on the way, you could stop and walk around. Calling it a 5A-level scenic spot would probably be overselling it, though.

The old homes are the main thing here. It’s also known as the hometown of General Secretary Jiang Zemin.

There’s a lot of Huizhou history in this old village. You can still see buildings like Sansheng Hall, Dunchong Hall, Peixin Hall, and Teng Family Old House, along with Xiaojiang Ancestral Hall, Jiangyong Memorial Hall, Nanguan Pavilion, and the Big Dipper Well. Jiangwan Scenic Area is in northeastern Wuyuan County, Jiangxi Province, and is rated a national AAAAA-level attraction.
