Shantou International Hotel

Staff were polite, helpful, and professional, and the facilities were well maintained. Accessibility for disabled guests was adequately provided, and parking is available. Payment can be made by cash, e-wallet, or credit card, with reasonable prices. The centrally located hotel is nicely set up, from its well-designed lobby to its big, clean, well-maintained rooms. It has a swimming pool, gymnasium, and business centre. Breakfast is served in the wide-spread buffet at the nice revolving restaurant on the seventeenth floor, where complimentary boiled soup is also served to guests. This is a five-star hotel operating in Shantou, Guangdong, China.

The buffet breakfast had a large selection each day, probably the best of the three hotels we stayed at in China. The rooms were clean and well maintained, with sweet soup delivered daily, and the laundry service was prompt. We spent four nights here with family and highly recommend it. Longyan Longyan street, the night food street, is within walking distance, with other shopping streets nearby. The nearby spa was very good too. Service from the concierge, front reception, room service, and restaurant was excellent.

Booking online was smooth and convenient, and the staff were welcoming and professional throughout. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well maintained, with thoughtful attention to detail around the hotel. My stay at Shantou International Hotel exceeded expectations from beginning to end. I’d highly recommend it for a comfortable, high-quality, memorable stay in Shantou City, and look forward to coming back on my next visit.

I spent four nights here, and the hotel was clean and tidy and still in good condition despite having been around for many years. Every part of the team was attentive, from bell boys and front desk officers to guest relation officers and housekeeping. I especially appreciated that Sofia, one of the guest relation officers, asked for constructive feedback on how they could improve, rather than only asking what was good. The service throughout, from check-in to check-out, was AMAZING. I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Shantou City.
