The room was the main problem. Rooms 801 to 6 cost ¥360, but their windows look onto a sealed connecting corridor, so there’s no view and the stay feels pretty poor. We weren’t told about that option in advance, and the price wasn’t adjusted. If you want a non-smoking room, they ask for another ¥100, saying it’s because it’s on a higher floor. I felt ripped off. The facilities are old, the lighting is dim, and the service is mediocre. Bring your own shampoo and shower gel. When booking, be careful to choose a single room.

There’s a supermarket right across the street, which is handy. The hotel itself was quite nice.
