We've often stayed at this hotel when we're in Shenyang. I like the place, it's convenient, and the surrounding area is nice.

I got a bad feeling right at check-in. Even after I showed my ID and the desk saw I was a Platinum member, they were still dealing with the issues from my earlier individual check-in. There was no priority or personalized service, and being Platinum didn't seem to bring any benefits. When I asked about an upgrade, the staff were unfriendly and said I could only move up one level. The room I got was almost the same as the one I'd booked, so I asked to upgrade again or switch rooms. Once more, I felt misled...

The service was excellent, the setting was pleasant, and there was a little elegance to the place.
