The foyer smelled disgusting, with fish from the nearby restaurant and a toilet smell. My room was dirty, and the cleaning was poor. The carpets outside the rooms looked long overdue for cleaning, as if they might never have been cleaned since the hotel opened. Staff couldn't speak English, so I think Westerners should avoid this hotel like the plague. Calling it a four star hotel is a joke, it felt more like two stars.
2/10
Breakfast was a mess. The shabby papers gave different breakfast times, and by the time we came down, all the food was gone. The kitchen staff did try to help, but the breakfast area was rundown. Service elsewhere was poor too. They wouldn't even get us cabs or arrange larger ones for our luggage. The rooms were old as well. Ibis and/or Accor need to fix this place and train the staff. The people at Ibis HongKong North Point would be a good example to follow, they're the complete opposite and the ideal staff.

I've stayed here a few times and would recommend it for the price and cleanliness. It's basic, but comfortable.
6/10
For a fair price, this place is perfectly acceptable, even if it's neither bad nor especially good. There are lots of shopping centers nearby, and I'd stay here again.

The service was excellent.
