ibis Shenyang Tiexi

On the economy motel scale, I'd give this Ibis a four. I've stayed at Ibis in China twice now, and some budget hotels have beds so hard it feels like sleeping on the floor. This one had a regular firm mattress. I paid about $23 for the room, booking roughly a month ahead. The room was small and no frills, but set up surprisingly well. It had a small bed, two pillows, a little TV (I couldn't find any English channels), two bath sized towels, two small toilet tissue rolls, a water boiler, and disposable slippers. The floors looked like faux hardwood. The small bathroom was a modular fiberglass unit, with a good sized walk in shower, excellent water pressure and hot water, a sink, hair dryer, and western style commode. The room was clean, and the bed was high enough to slide smaller travel bags underneath.
