We arrived after travelling all day, despite booking well in advance, and were told they couldn't accept non-Chinese IDs because of “regulations.” The booking page didn't say anything about this. Other hotels we went to in Shenzhen handled non-Chinese IDs just fine and were lovely. There was also a sign saying no dogs and no foreigners, like it's 1950's America. On top of that, the hotel was dirty, noisy, and staffed by miserable, unfriendly people. I wouldn't recommend it.

We struggled to find the hotel even with Google Maps, so the location wasn't great for us. The price wasn't cheap, but the room was decent. It's a budget hotel, so you get what you pay for, and I don't have a complaint about that. I might stay there again if I visit SZ.

I had a basic room this time, and it was huge, the largest I've seen in a basic-level hotel. It was comfortable too, and I liked having a big bathtub. The staff were all very welcoming and beautiful this time.
