The breakfast was fantastic, and I really enjoyed the views over the golf course. Zenzen Castle golf Hotel is a good recommendation, particularly if you want to get away from city life. I ate out in the evenings to try local food. Just plan ahead for getting around: the hotel is several kilometres from public transport, including trains, and reaching it takes time. In China, credit cards linked to Didi, Alipay, and WeChat may not work. I set mine up at home in Germany, but the services still didn't work after I arrived. My SIM card's data also didn't work, so be ready to buy a data SIM at the airport. Bring enough paper currency to exchange at the hotel, where the rates are good.

The setting is nice, the buffet is lovely, the room is spacious, and most of the staff are friendly. The spa staff were a bit dishonest. Getting here from the city center is tough, though, about 30 tube stations away.

A good hotel if you're a golfer, or if you're travelling with kids. The location works especially well for those trips.
