The staff were friendly and very helpful, and the laundry was the cheapest we saw in China and Hong Kong, just 55 yuan per load. City Inn is a lower-budget hotel in a very handy location: Window of the World MTR station is right outside, and the MTR entrance gives easy access to the large Yitian Holiday Plaza shopping centre. It took about 30 minutes to get to Luohu for shopping or to transfer back to Hong Kong, at 5 yuan each. Some parts of the hotel are run down. Our room was fairly clean, but broken bathroom tiles needed repairs. Breakfast was traditional Chinese food only, with two kinds of noodles, pickled vegetables and steamed sweet potato. We also ate at Starbucks or McDonald's across the road.

The bed was comfortable, the place was clean, and the nearby metro station and bus terminal were convenient. The room was musty, though, and the wallpaper was peeling. The breakfast buffet had an odd selection: porridge, fried noodles, hard bread, another kind of fried noodles, and hard-boiled eggs as the only food without carbohydrates.

The location is super convenient, really close to the Metro. The rooms were clean and had enough goods. Yeah, this was fine.
