A decent business hotel at a good price. Breakfast was just so-so, and it seems mainly geared toward Chinese visitors.

The building’s lobby has a really high ceiling. The rooms are fine and clean, and the staff are polite. For birthdays, they even give guests a big cake, paper plates, toiletries, and candles. Such a thoughtful touch! The toilet seat isn’t hydraulic, so it makes quite a racket when you lower it. Breakfast was just okay, with very few choices. There’s dim sum upstairs, but it’s pricey and the food is very oily, even though some items are discounted.

The decor feels a little dated, but the hotel is clean and bright, and the staff are exceptionally polite. The buffet at the hotel restaurant has a huge variety and is well worth trying. It’s on Baotian 1st Road in Bao'an District, right beside a subway station. Within a 10-minute walk there’s a lively street with restaurants, boutiques, karaoke bars, card rooms, McDonald's, KFC, and plenty of other entertainment. The hotel is Shenzhen Dunhill International Hotel.
