The room is spotless and the bedding is comfortable. Its unusual layout follows the IHG Even hotel concept found around the world, with a small workout area that also works as a place to relax. The elevator design is lovely, too. This feels different from a typical hotel. If you're visiting Shenzhen, it gives you a glimpse of local life while still offering modern conveniences. The staff can help with deliveries and with managing local apps.

The room had a little refreshment bar by the door, and the fitness theme was a nice touch. For the price, the rooms are pretty good, and you can work out in the room or use the gym downstairs. The MRT is roughly a 10-minute walk away. We got drink vouchers at check-in, but during our two days there we never saw anyone working the bar when we were around, so we just had the standard canned drinks. The TV selection was limited, with no real international channels.
