The location suited my work trip, but the first two rooms had air conditioning that didn't work. The third room's AC worked, though it was on the first floor and extremely noisy. The staff did everything they could to help me.

The ocean view is nice, and the place is still okay, though it's a bit run down.

For Pingshan, this is definitely the best hotel available. The room was nice, but smelled of smoke. I couldn't tell whether someone had smoked in it or the smell came from the air conditioning. Service felt a bit lacking. I went to the spa to ask about massages, but the staff spoke only Chinese and no English, which I found unacceptable. Prices posted outside weren't honored inside either. Once I was in, they told me the listed prices were no longer valid and quoted double.
