Hampton by Hilton Shenzhen Futian Mangrove Park Apartments

The neighborhood is nice, with good shops and transport close by. Inside, the rooms have clean furnishings, good linens, and a washer-dryer, which was a real plus. The staff were friendly and very helpful, making the stay easy and enjoyable. A great place to stay.

The location made getting around Shenzhen very easy, and the staff helped me figure out how to reach places like Laojie, Longhua, Huaqiangbei and Coco Park. I’d never used the MRT in Singapore before, but here it was so convenient. We’re grateful for all the help, especially from Mr. Bruce, Miss Mia, and the other staff whose names I didn’t get. One lady even helped order delicious mini buns online for my daughter. We stayed from midnight on May 1st until the morning of May 5th. Check-in went smoothly and quickly in the early morning, and the hotel service was excellent. Our room was spacious and very clean, and the breakfast had lots of choices with almost no repeats. The MRT is very close. We’ll definitely stay here again when we’re in Shenzhen.

Breakfast was badly managed. There was a long line outside the restaurant, and the food was replenished too slowly and in insufficient amounts. The room itself was clean and spacious, but the window had been left open. Even with the heat on before bed, I got sick from the cold. I also wish the carpet covered more of the floor, since the floor felt cold underfoot in the morning.

Facing the mangroves, the spacious room had a sea view and was a great spot to watch the sunset.
