The modern lighting switches are quite bright at night. One other small annoyance was the light under the fridge, which stayed on and left a pool of light in the room. Otherwise, a great hotel.

Getting there was a problem because Google Maps can be badly wrong. The hotel feels very isolated, and the staff have very limited English. Huangbanhei seems like a much more appealing area.

There isn’t much around the hotel, which is the main downside. Inside, though, the rooms are surprisingly spacious and nice, and I especially liked how powerful the air conditioning was. Breakfast had a good spread too.

BYD invited me, and I stayed for three nights in Apr. 2025. The room was nice and the service was good.

The WiFi gave me trouble the first time, but it’s all working now. I also liked the breakfast choices, and the staff were friendly. A nice stay.
