The breakfast has a good range of choices and the rooms are good quality, so it was nearly perfect for me. The kitchen staff are really friendly, and there’s an open-air seafood restaurant within walking distance. There are plenty of Japanese and other restaurants nearby, though parking is quite challenging. Reception staff generally can’t speak English, but you might get lucky and find one who can. That’s why I gave the service 4 stars.
In January 2026, I didn’t stay overnight, but I noticed how convenient the hotel is for a stopover in Shenzhen. It’s directly in front of Exit A at Fuyong Station, and the station is only two stops from Shenzhen Airport. Both Line 11 and Line 12 serve Fuyong, and there are shops, restaurants, and a McDonald's next to the hotel.
The hotel has a gym and laundry room, and it’s just a minute from the subway. There are plenty of amenities around it, and it’s close to exhibition halls. The nearby Vienna Hotel is worse for air quality, with dated equipment and carpets that hold onto smoke. Here, smoke still gets into non-smoking rooms through the central air conditioning. I had to turn off the air conditioning and open the windows to improve the air. Local Chinese hotels generally can’t ban smoking completely unless they’re international chains. Plane takeoffs and landings are also noticeable. It suits people who want convenient transport and amenities and aren’t very sensitive to smoke. If a smoke-free environment is a priority, an international brand hotel may be a better choice.
The room is spacious and clean, but being right beside the road makes it a little noisy.
