The staff were incredibly helpful and friendly, though there was nobody to help with luggage. The automated robot that delivers food was quite amazing. Rooms are clean, modern, and comfortable, and there are several types. The king room has an enclosed shower and toilet for more privacy. I didn’t take photos of the different room types, but the smaller, more open layout would probably suit a solo traveler. Its lavatory opens directly onto the room with no door, like a studio apartment, and is noisier to use. Breakfast is an average buffet with American and Chinese dishes. The quality is decent, but you can see all that’s on offer. The main downside for us was the location: it’s in a more residential area with very few shops and restaurants, while we were here to shop and eat. Luohu near malls such as Coco mall would be a better location. Even so, our experience was good overall.

Breakfast had plenty to choose from and was laid out well. The metro stop is a bit of a walk, but I had no trouble getting around, especially with DiDi. My room at Holiday Inn Express Shenzhen Futian Center was roomy, clean, and comfortable, and the hotel feels quite new. The staff were warm and friendly. I had a really nice stay and would happily return.

Whenever I’m in Futian, Shenzhen, this is my first pick. The welcome feels genuinely warm, and the attentive staff make a difference. The rooms and shared spaces were spotless, and the upgraded amenities make it feel well above what I’d expect from an express hotel.

There are lots of restaurants nearby, and getting a DiDi is easy. The hotel has good rooms and a nice view, and breakfast was excellent. The breakfast room was freezing, though, with several people wearing jackets, me included 😃. Would recommend.

My kids really enjoyed the breakfast, with so many choices. The room was very clean and the service was good. Coco Park is about a 12-minute walk away. The one thing that disappointed us was having to pay to use the swimming pool.
