Even with the DND and “No Cleaning” light on, housekeeping entered my room during my five-night stay in room 1422. I had used 66k points, and the intrusion also contaminated imported eye drops and medication. The hotel offered 3k points, which I turned down. After three weeks of correspondence, IHG Guest Relations still directed me back to the hotel because it is “independently owned.” My privacy wasn’t protected and the issue remains unresolved.

I’m Macanese, and getting to Shenzhen takes me two hours, but the stay made the trip worthwhile. The rooms felt luxurious and were very clean, and the staff were lovely. They even had robots. Absolute cinema.

The room was roomy and clean, and ordering food was easy. There’s a metro station nearby, though it’s a bit of a distance from Window of the World and Splendid China. The staff were friendly and helpful, especially Ms. Sylvia Ye, who was so kind and took great care of us.

I spent the last two weeks at this new hotel, and getting around was easy since it’s beside Zhongshan Park metro station and near Nantou Ancient City. The room was big, fresh, and clean, and the whole hotel was kept impressively tidy. Celina and Alvin at the front desk were especially helpful.
