Honlux Apartment

Honlux Apartment felt welcoming and comfortable, and the meals at the hotel restaurant were a highlight. I enjoyed the traditional Chinese food as well as the international dishes. The staff were warm and friendly, especially at mealtimes when they helped me find local places to eat despite the language barrier. Some struggled with English, but they were keen to help. The place was clean throughout, including the room and washroom, and the hygiene standard was high. The free internet was useful, though some apps didn't work properly. Those small problems didn't take away from the pleasant atmosphere or my overall positive stay during my recent trip to China.

The rooms are clean, and the staff are friendly and helpful. Joan and her front desk team were a big help during our stay, and the housekeeping aunty on level 3 kept our room clean and greeted me warmly whenever we crossed paths. The hotel serves good food, and reception gives you a token for one free drink when you check in. You can use it at the nearby ship restaurant. The place is clean and nicely presented, with a roomy entrance and a handy spot for shopping, restaurants, sightseeing, buses, taxis, and main traffic routes. Staff were excellent and did their best to help with anything. My only gripe was the traffic noise, which carried on day and night.

Good value for the location, and the place is cozy even if it isn't fancy. The breakfast could be better for expats. Starbucks or McDonalds are only a few meters away, though, so I'd try one of those.
