Innogo Hotel

My husband thought the room was small, though I didn’t mind its size. The food and laundry service were good, and the service felt good for the price. Everything else was nice too. The elevator was the only issue, but it was still a wonderful hotel.

The walls were so thin I could hear the people next door talking and flushing the toilet loudly. They carried on until 2 a.m., then I could hear them snoring after they went to bed. The bath towel was the worst part, a disposable one so thin it felt like paper. We had five rooms, but it took one staff member 20 minutes to process everything before we got the keys. I’m not coming back.

The hotel is close to the Metro and next door to Shangrila Hotel, in a refurbished old building. Breakfast was satisfying, and the reception staff were friendly and courteous. Bring your own towel if disposable ones aren’t for you. They’re provided for hygiene. We decided to stay one more night and asked for a better rate. I should have just booked through agoda. Around 10:16 a.m. on 17June, the supervisor or manager on duty treated me insultingly, saying I shouldn’t stay at the hotel if I couldn’t afford the offered rate. That supervisor or manager needs to change her attitude or just be a housewife.

The location is handy, less than 100m from Luohu (Line 1) station exit E on the left, with Renmin South station (Line 9) about 150m away on the right. The room was clean and comfortable, and customer service was friendly and helpful. They generously offered free coffee and supper too. I’ll come back with my family.
